PAMPHYLIA. Side. Circa 360-333 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 10.80 g, 11 h), Po..., magistrate. Athena standing front, head to left, holding Nike, who crowns her with a wreath, in her extended right hand and placing her left on shield upon which is propped a spear; in field to left, pomegranate; in field to right, 'po' (in Sidetic). Rev. Apollo, laureate and in long chiton, standing front, head to left, holding patera in his right hand and long laurel staff in his left; at feet to left, lighted altar; to right, 'sidu[.]wa/uiś' (in Sidetic). Atlan 127-129. SNG Paris -. SNG von Aulock 4772. An exceptional example, very well struck on a full flan and with particularly sharp and well readable legends. Very minor doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
